Hello, friends of
SourceHosting.net!
Are you enjoying the winter as much as I did on a recent
winter hike? For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, winter
can certainly feel interminable in late February and into March, but
I hope you've been able to enjoy it anyway.
In this edition of the newsletter, we've got several exciting
announcements, and we hope you'll take advantage of the new
offerings. As always, comments and feedback are welcome, and I'll be
in touch again in the spring.
Cheers, Greg

SourceHosting.net Deploys Hosted Bugzilla
3.0 |
 |
The Bugzilla 2.x series has been a workhorse of the
SourceHosting.net suite of tools since we first offered it in
2004. The Mozilla Foundation delivered a major upgrade of the
software with its 3.0 release last year, and we now offer it
to all new and existing clients.
Bugzilla 3.0 includes one of the most popular enhancement
requests - custom field support. In addition, there are
numerous other bug fixes and UI improvements.
If you currently use Bugzilla 2.22 and would like to
upgrade, please submit
a request to us. New client accounts include Bugzilla 3.0
automatically.

Introducing SourceHosting.blog |
 |
With the encouragement of a former co-worker (thanks
Matthew!), I started a new blog back in December. In addition
to my primary role of building and operating
SourceHosting.net, I also have a variety of technical
interests and enjoy offering useful information to others as I
acquaint myself with new areas.
Toward that end, I've set up SourceHosting.blog
(RSS
feed) to record tips, tricks, information and
miscellaneous topics as they present themselves, such as my
explorations into various PHP
MVC frameworks.
I welcome your comments and ideas for future posts, and if
any SourceHosting.net user would like to become a guest
writer, please contact me.

Subversion, this no longer works. Why is that? --J.R.
