Technical Questions and Answers

Q: What changes do I have to make to my network to access the SourceHosting.net service?

A: If your Internet connection is routed through a firewall (check with your WAN administrator or ISP), make sure that outgoing connections to TCP port 2402 are enabled. This is the port number that the stunnel program uses when it accesses the SourceHosting.net service. For increased security, the firewall could be configured to only allow outgoing connections to TCP port 2402 with a destination host of repository.sourcehosting.net.
